Substack Newsletter Logo
I redesigned the logo for Simple but Not Easy, a Substack newsletter by U.S. Representative Jake Auchincloss, who serves Massachusetts’s 4th Congressional District. With over 84,000 subscribers, the newsletter provides residents and citizens nationwide with clear, solutions-focused perspectives on issues like healthcare costs, housing, and civic reform.

The goal of the redesign was to move away from overtly political cues and create a logo that feels cleaner, more versatile, and accessible. The result supports the newsletter’s mission of making complex political ideas approachable and engaging for a wide audience.

Congressional Infographic
During a congressional meeting, Congressman Jake Auchincloss raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest involving two top advisers to Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Calley Means and Brad Smith, who maintained ties to their private businesses while serving in government roles. To support this discussion, I designed a poster that was used in the meeting as a visual tool to clearly map these relationships, helping participants quickly understand the potential corruption and conflicts of interest between RFK Jr. and his employees. The poster served as a central reference point, making complex organizational and ethical connections immediately accessible to lawmakers and staff.
